Quick and easy roll brim hat worked bottom-up in stockinette stitch with a sprialing set of decreases all leading to a sprout on top. Worked in DK/light worsted weight makes it the perfect hat to ride the shoulder season. Pull it down tight when the weather is mercurial. Roll it up when the bulbs start sprouting and you need to lean in for a closer listen.

The Fritillaria Hat is knit in the round from the bottom up in stockinette stitch with a series of even decreases and small point on top. The brim naturally rolls upwards due to the nature of stockinette stitch. This hat works well in solids and stripes.

Pattern sizing is written for a medium adult head (roughly 21.5”- 23” circumference). You can knit a smaller or larger version, but your stitch count will need to be adjusted and accounted for when working the pattern. Math and multiples calculation is provided for these sizes in fit notes portion of pattern.
